Compared

To compare a person to another is to challenge the integrity of their personality.
It is to give openings to new insecurities of failures others have displayed.
To be compared to someone you have no even met is a true worry, for you do not know at all what they see in you both.
I don't want to be seen to be 'as caring as' this friend, that would mean I can only care as much as they.
I do not want to be seen as 'as straight-forward' as that friend, for it shows you do not know of the winding paths of my mind.
I do not want to be 'as cool as' this person, for do they really set a standard?
I do not want to be as they are, I want only to be seen for me.
Do not compare me, do not compare to me.
I am my own person.
My personality has integrity.
I am but myself,
I cannot be compared
